I had the pleasure of photographing Alisha for her senior photos for Eagle High School.  The shoot happened at the MK Nature Center and we were able to get some gorgeous photos of Alisha and her little sisters.  However there was a big surprise in this session.  Alisha’s father called me the day before and has arranged a special surprise for his wife on their anniversary which also was the same day as the session.  Towards the end of the session I sent my assistant to the parking lot to get a “fresh battery” as I kept the rest of the family distracted.  Since we were overlooking...

This was a fun shoot with a great subject.  He wanted something unique because he is a tennis player so we did part of his session at the Quarry Park In Boise at the tennis courts.  At the time there was a huge storm rolling in and we were concerned about the rain.  The sky was all dark and cloudy which really enhanced his photos.  The pictures turned out pretty awesome.  Then we headed to the MK Nature Center to finish off the rest of the session.  After about 20 minutes at the MK Nature Center the rain came and we just finished the shoot so the timing was perfect.  Both his Ethan and...

Stacey and Jim are getting married in a few weeks at the Woodriver Cellars in Eagle Idaho.  This session was done at one of my favorite places at the Idaho Botanical Gardens in Boise Idaho.  Having sessions at the gardens in always a new photo every time because the change in backdrop every month is so significant with what’s blooming at the gardens. Kaitlyn and Tanner were sealed at the Mormon Temple in Boise Idaho on May 14th 2011.  It was a cloudy day at first when I arrived at the Mormon Temple but miraculously the weather cleared right up as they were leaving the Temple to a bright blue sky.  The Temple Gardens are absolutely gorgeous in Boise and I really enjoyed taking pictures with all the pretty tree and flowers and of course nothing was prettier that my beautiful princess bride Kaitlyn.  Tanner shocked me at first because when I took their pre-wedding photos he was wearing a black tuxedo but he changed into a white tuxedo for...

It turned out to be a gorgeous April day for the formal session of Kaitlyn and Tanner.  The session was done at the Idaho Botanical Gardens.  We are seeing more couples choosing to do their official formal prior to the wedding to take some of the stress off them to enjoy their reception.  The whole time I was shooting this session I could see that Tanner really truly adores Kaitlyn and you can see it captured in the photos.  It was very relaxing session and everyone was having a good time.  I really want to thank Kaitlyn’s mom Ann for helping out as much as she did.  The pictures came...

So I was on the phone today with a cableone representative and they told me that they had this super new internet plan that was cheaper than what I was paying now.  It was their 50mb plan and I had to sign a one year contract and go down to my local office in person and sign up.  So as with all cableone’s plans they always have some introductory prices and then the prices go up after a certain amount of time.  So I asked “What is the price after the year is up?”.  The person on the phone tells me that it stays the same but the plan drops to a 5mb plan and thats the highest...

Well after a very rainy April and May it seems the weather is finally starting to give some warmth.  Having a wedding in Boise in April and May is so unpredicatable weather wise.  You never know what it is going to do and the weather changes so rapidly this time of year.  If your going to have a outdoor wedding during these months make sure you have alternative plans set up incase the weather doesn’t cooperate.  Some tips in case the weather turns bad would be to rent some tents and have them ready at your wedding.  Even if the weather is good its nice to have some shade or some covering...
