Domino Bisons

Loading ...Here are some Bisons standing in a row. Photographed in Yellowstone National Park in June 2009. I will admit that a lot of my animal pictures are taken with my Canon 100-400 lense. It gets me close enough to get a great photo but not scare me or the animals away. I’d just like to let you know that some of the Bison pictures I took were way up close and personal. We were walking into a spring and the trail just happened to lead through an entire herd of Bison! I was able to get some great pictures and thank goodness the Bison didn’t seem to mind. When we returned to our cabin that same night we heard on the news about a lady who was just using a pay phone on the side of the road was charged and tossed by an angry Bison. It made me go “hhhhhmmmmm…” and I avoided payphones for the rest of the trip.
