Grizzy Bear in Yellowstone National Park.  Picture taken June 2009.  That sounds so simple.  What you don’t know is that we drove around for four days looking for that grizzly bear.  I was starting to think we would have to leave Yellowstone without seeing a single bear.   We were driving over Mount Washburn (for the last time) and what to my amazing eyes did appear?  A bear jam!!!!!!!  That’s when all of the cars have stopped and you see everyone out with their cameras.  There was no place to pull over so luckily not being the driver I jumped out with my camera and ran up the road.  It was amazing and scary being right there with such a big powerful animal. I never ealized how much ground a grizzly could cover in a short amount of time.  He decided to cross the road and came right towards the crowd of cameras.  I stood still and kept shooting till I could feel my heart beating out of my chest then decided it was time to go back to the car for cover.
